I am visting Las Vegas this week and I have not been for 2 years. My questions is in the big casinos on the strip do they still have “QUARTER AND NICKLE SLOTS?” and can you still put in quaters, nickles or 1 dollar bills. My guessing is probally same as Foxwoods the don’t accept coins just 5 dollar or higher in bills. AM I right? OR can you still put in quaters? IF no ,Doese any hotel in the strip or downtown Las Vegas have it the old way? put in quaters or 1 dollar bills and or dont use tickets/cupons? Thank you.

You will find more “coin droppers” in downtown.
Every casino on Fremont street still has a few coin droppers some have more than others(Vegas Club/El Cortez)
Try the “locals” casinos, even the newer ones keep a few coin droppers around for the people who like to play them.
You can still find actual “Penny” slot machines, and I don’t mean these new penny slot machines that are $3 a pull. At the Gold Spike just off Fremont Street they have an area known as the “copper mine”, this is about 30 old penny “coin droppers”. Buy a roll of pennies and have a ball, just don’t go flashing large bills($5) at the Gold Spike or the patrons will stare :))
