Mirage. I’m not much on playing the slots, but the atmosphere was great.

It’s a hard call. Every one has something unigue that makes it great…it’s like comparing apples and oranges. Are you looking for food, shows, magic, rides, music, comedy, gaming, shopping or just amazing views whereever you look…

I liked Luxor for the virtual reality, but Ceasar’s Palace was my favorite…I like all the magic and the underground and the moving statues and the shopping mall etc., the stage production at Bally’s was amazing (if don’t mind all the bare breasted woman)…….I haven’t been ….but New York and Paris looked amazing from the outside.

To stay at–The Venetian, it’s incredible! As far as casinos go, MGM black jack on Sunday Mornings, $5 tables by KA theater, not too busy, & great dealers! Other good casinos: Luxor, Tropicana, Mirage–at least that’s where I’ve won! (who likes to go where they lost?)

My personal favorite was the Stardust RIP!!! It was the epitome of old school Vegas. They took care of their gamblers by offering good games, good comps and good drinks. None of these things exist on the strip anymore.

Sure it didnt have any Emeril restaurants or clubs where Paris would hang out. And yes some of the waitresses were there when it opened in the 50s but that was all part of its beauty. The ‘dust certainly has been missed…

    My tribute to the Stardust

I’m a Treasure Island guy. Hotel has always been clean, the staff friendly. TI is geared towards the ‘average Joe’. Many hotels are looking for the high rollers. We recently stayed at Caesers Palace and were severly disappointed. If you weren’t dropping a couple Benjamins a hand at whatever game you were playing, you were treated like a second class citizen.

I always liked staying at Luxor. I loved their pool, their cafe, their buffet, and their gaming.

I don’t recommend Caesar’s Palace - the room I stayed in had walls so thin I could hear the couple in the next room all night long.

As far as gambling itself, I like Circus Circus, Luxor, and Monte Carlo. I’ve had the most success there. I love Rio’s Buffet the most. The appearance of the Casino would either be the Wynn or the Venetian.
